This policy explains what Faded Fruits collects when you visit or buy from this site, why we hold it, how long we keep it, and what you can ask us to do with it. It is written to be read, not to be skimmed past.

Who we are
Faded Fruits is an online shop selling cannabis infused gummies and edibles at fadedfruit.com. Our operating base is California, United States. For anything covered by this policy you can reach us at Sales@fadedfruit.com or on +1 (720) 288 0492.
What we collect
We collect three kinds of information, and it helps to keep them separate in your head.
What you give us
When you place an order we ask for your name, delivery address, billing address, email and phone number. If you create an account we also store the username and a hashed password. If you contact us by email, form or WhatsApp we keep that correspondence so we can answer you and refer back to it.
What your browser tells us
Like almost every site, our server records the IP address, browser type, device type, referring page and the pages you view. This is standard web server logging and happens whether or not you buy anything.
What we never collect
We do not collect your card number. We do not ask for identity documents, medical records or anything about your health, and you should not send them to us.
Why we hold it
Order information exists so we can take payment, pack the right products, deliver to the right address, and handle a return or a query afterwards. Account details exist so you can log back in without retyping everything. Correspondence exists so that the next person who reads your email can see what was already said.
We also use aggregate traffic data to see which pages are useful and which are not. That analysis is about pages, not about you as an individual.
Payments
Card and payment details are handled by the payment provider at checkout, not by us. We never see or store a full card number, and nothing in our database would let anyone reconstruct one. What we receive back is confirmation that a payment succeeded or failed, plus the billing name and address needed to match the payment to the order.
Cookies and the age check
This site uses cookies for a small number of jobs. One remembers what is in your basket so it survives a page reload. One keeps you logged in if you have an account. One records that you confirmed you are over 21 at the age check, so you are not asked on every page. Analytics cookies, where present, tell us how pages perform in aggregate.
You can clear or block cookies in your browser settings. If you block them, the basket and the age check will stop remembering you and the site will ask again on each visit.
Who we share it with
We share the minimum needed to complete what you asked for. Delivery partners receive the name and address on the parcel. The payment provider receives what it needs to take payment. Our hosting and email providers process data on our behalf as part of running the site.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not pass your details to unrelated companies for their own marketing. If we are ever required to disclose information by a lawful order, we will comply with that order.
How long we keep it
Order records are kept while they may be needed for accounting, tax and returns. Account details are kept until you ask us to close the account. Correspondence is kept while it is useful for support history. Server logs rotate on a much shorter cycle.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask what we hold about you, to have it corrected, to have it deleted, to receive a copy in a portable format, and to object to certain uses. California residents have specific rights under state privacy law, including the right to know and the right to deletion, and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising them. You can read the state’s own explanation at the California Attorney General’s CCPA page.
To exercise any of these, email Sales@fadedfruit.com from the address on the order. We may need to confirm it is really you before acting, which protects you rather than us. Note that deletion can be limited where we are required to keep transaction records.
Security
The site runs over HTTPS, so traffic between your browser and our server is encrypted. Passwords are stored hashed, not in readable form. Access to order data is limited to the people who need it to run the shop.
No system is perfect, and anyone claiming otherwise is overselling. If we ever become aware of a breach affecting your information, we will act on it and tell affected customers.

The Federal Trade Commission publishes plain guidance on what businesses should be doing with customer data, and is a reasonable yardstick to hold us to.
Why this privacy policy is short
The less we hold, the less there is to lose, and that principle shapes everything above. We do not run a loyalty programme, we do not build advertising profiles, and we do not store card numbers because our payment methods never hand them to us in the first place.
That last point is worth being explicit about. Payment by Zelle, Apple Pay or Bitcoin means the payment is authorised somewhere else entirely and we receive a confirmation, not a card record. There is no card database here to breach. It also means nobody from Faded Fruits will ever ask you for a card number by email, phone or message, and any request that does is not from us.
Exercising your rights in practice
You can ask what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. Write to Sales@Fadedfruit.com from the email address on the order and we will deal with it. Deletion has one limit worth knowing in advance: records attached to a completed order may need to be retained for tax and accounting purposes, so we cannot always erase everything immediately.

The age check that appears when you first arrive sets a cookie so it does not ask again on every page. That cookie records only that the check was passed. It carries no identity and it is not shared with anyone.
