Two things in that table deserve comment because they look like errors and are not. The 100 pack sits at a slightly higher cost per pack than the 50, because it is packed and picked as a different unit. If you are choosing between them purely on price, take two 50s. Those are gross figures before your rent, staff, card fees and shrinkage, and they assume you sell the whole case. The number worth being honest with yourself about is sell through rate, not margin. A 1,000 pack case at 80 percent margin that takes fourteen months to clear is a worse business than a 250 pack case you turn over every six weeks, because the small case is recycling your cash four or five times in the same period. Which case size fits your business
The 25 and 50 pack cases are for testing. A counter that has never carried edibles should buy one, price it, watch what moves, and learn whether its customers ask for strain labels or just want the strongest thing on the shelf. That knowledge is worth more than the discount you gave up.
The 250 and 500 pack cases suit an established single location or a small delivery operation with a known repeat customer base. This is where most of our accounts settle, and where the per pack price starts to look genuinely good against anything else in the category.

What actually sells at retail
Three patterns show up across almost every account we supply, and they are worth knowing before you set your shelf.
